Volunteer Agreement

Your registration to volunteer assumes that you have read the policies stated below and agree to abide by them.

OUR MISSION

As a volunteer, you are agreeing to be part of our mission to encourage preteen girls to build healthy self esteem and make positive life choices through a grace-based message.  The Heart2Heart Girls Conference is provided by the Heart2Heart Ministry - a non-denominational organization committed to helping preteen girls of all faiths, backgrounds, and nationalities discover who Christ is, how to grow closer to Him and how to develop into the young women He created them to be as described in 2 Peter 3:18, “…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ”. 

YOUR COMMITTMENT

1. This is an individual commitment – you must personally register!

Since volunteering is an individual commitment you may not register multiple people to volunteer.

2. Cancellations

It is your important responsibility to contact us in case of cancellation. You are part of a team and not showing up for your commitment places additional work load on the other volunteers. Please notify the Volunteer Coordinator of your cancellation by email as soon as possible, but at least two weeks before the event. We understand life is ever-changing and in case of emergency cancellation, please contact us at (904) 476-8602.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

We want you to find satisfaction and share in the rewards of serving. Along with the opportunity offered by the Heart2Heart Ministry to serve “behind-the-scenes” you have certain responsibilities and obligations. Your primary and most important responsibility, of course, is to do a good job with the volunteer role you’re assigned. Our expectations that will help you be successful in your volunteer role are:

• Have a positive, willing attitude
• Follow the instructions of your Team Leader – willing to listen to and accept their leadership
• Be a team player – willing to work together in a spirit of cooperation
• Be on-time to the volunteer orientation and to your assigned place of service
• Understand your responsibilities and ask questions if you need further clarification
• Respect the privacy of the conference speakers, artists, and special guests.

Background Check

KEEPING IT SAFE

Security at our events is always a concern, especially where kids are involved. In order to provide the best possible security for our attendees, Coordinators, and volunteers, we are conducting background checks on all our potential volunteers.

THE PROCESS

A link to the background check form will be sent to your email address within 2 weeks after your registration has been received. Background checks can take up to 10 business days to be processed. Once your background check has been completed you will receive an email confirmation. It is very important that your email address is correct; all communications will be sent via email. If you need to change your email address or you have questions about the background check please contact us at info@heart2heartministry.org.

THE RULES

1. If we don’t get the form, you will not be allowed to volunteer.
2. If you do not successfully pass the background check, you will not be allowed to volunteer.

THE COST

For you – nothing! Not a thing. We’ll cover the cost of the background check in order to help keep our event safe.

PLEASE NOTE

You are not confirmed to volunteer until we receive a positive status for your background check. You will receive an email confirming the completion of the check.
